Our Thoughts

Is it Bosnia or is it Hercegovina? More importantly, can Muslim Slavs, Catholic Croats, and Orthodox Serbs live together in one country. Civil war between these groups created the phrase, 'ethnic cleansing,' even though ethnically speaking all parties were indistinguishable from each other; religion separted them, not ethnicity.

We came here and tried to get our minds around the meaning of Bosnia's civil war. The map shows this as one country but it's at least two: the Bosnian Croatian Federation centered around Sarajevo and Mostar, and the Serbian side around Banja Luka.

Highlight: Sarajevo has charm but Mostar is the best looking.
