| Determined to 'know' Paris, we spent the entire day walking around the city. We're convinced this is the world's best city for a stroll. Besides the numerous famous sites that abound from one end to the other, Paris itself, away from the tourist spots, is striking in its uniform stateliness. But rather than seeming like a museum, the broad tree-lined avenues create an airy aspect that makes the city liveable amidst all of its grandeur. |
