| Australia should annex Eceabat because there are more Aussies here than Turks. They're here to visit Gallipoli, battlefield for Australia's most famous fight. After watching a 2 hour documentary, touring the battlefield, and then seeing the movie 'Gallipoli,' we know more about Australia's WWI feats than American. For us, the toughest battle was surviving the cold. Staying at a youth hostel for $5 a night doesn't include heated rooms, so dressed in all of our clothes, including jackets, we huddled and slept like a pair of penguins. |
