We left Germany on a scenic train ride to Vienna. The most noticeable thing about Vienna is music. This city is dedicated to it; composers such as Mozart and Strauss are its heroes. We attended a Mozart concert in a small, intimate theatre. Classical music isn't too inspiring while standing in an elevator, but it comes alive when its being played in front of you by talented musicians. We finished our "artsy" evening by visiting a chic art gathering - the kind where nicely dressed patrons sip cocktails while looking thoughtfully at sculptures and paintings. In our shabby clothes and backpacks we received as many stares as the art.

While in Vienna we saw the Lipizzaner stallions, which could dance better than us.

The upside to our wardrobe - we got the student rate at the opera, no questions asked.
