Driving the "English way" is starting to be natural. We've been up and down the coast, from the Cape of Good Hope to Hermanus. The scenery is reminiscent of Big Sur. In weather and geography, the Cape Town area feels like a minature San Francisco Bay area. Even though Cape Town is highly developed, the wildlife show continues. We watched penguins yesterday, hilarious for their waddle which is a parody of human walking. In Hermanus we watched whales. Twenty ton Southern Right whales swam within 30 yards of the coast, seemingly looking for handouts from people on the beach.
Looks somewhat like Big Sur or Point Reyes, California, but this coastline is near Cape Town

(Above and Below) Watching the awesome Southern Right whale; named as such because it was the "right" whale to catch in the bygone whaling days.
