We arrived in Ulaan Baatar this afternoon and we already miss the Mongolian steppe. We enjoyed the culture of a true horse-based society, no fences or land ownership, no trespassing worries, exhilarating freedom.
Since the Mongolian roads were busy today due to the upcoming Naadam festival (a busy Mongolian road is a few vehicles per hour), these girls were out selling airag, the fermented mare's milk, for fifteen cents per bowl (150 Tugriks)
"Excuse us, miss, but you're blocking the road you city bumpkin!"
Heavy traffic: people traveling into Ulaan Baatar for tomorrow's Naadam Festival.
