Next Day |
| We slept in an isolated camp without fences. Lions kept us awake all night with their roars; they prowled about our camp and sounded very close at times, within thirty yards. That made toilet dashes from the tent exciting and quick. |
| A pair of dik-diks, the smallest antelope. |
