| After striking out again with Nile perch, a fishless morning, we received an adrenaline rush on a raft. The Nile rapids killed some early explorers and thwarted their attempts to discover the Nile's source. Today people brave these rapids for fun. At least no more crocodiles or hippos live in this section of the river. The rapids challenged us, flipping our boat twice, and we swallowed half the river going thru rapids without the raft. |
