Last night we entered Russia on an overnight train from Kharkiv. Jill was sick with a flu, so we upgraded to a first class cabin and coughed our way through immigration. Early in the morning we crept out of Moscow's metro onto Red Square, nearby where our hotel lies next to St Basils cathedral. After we dealt with the hotel staff, a much tougher job than border police, we dumped our stuff and re-introduced ourselves to Moscow.

your passport. | |||
The only surviving statue in Moscow (maybe Russia) of Stalin,
minus his nose. The wall of stone heads in the background represents his victims.
