| We must pay for this vacation somehow, so we sign up for a time-share presentation. Local real estate agents pay $100 to tourists for them to listen to a sales pitch about beach front property in Belize. A two bedroom condo (a condo with a thatched roof), costs $12,000 for one week (the concept of time-share is joint ownership of vacation property where each owner is limited to a certain amount of time per year). The presentation wasn't high-pressure, it only lasted 90 minutes, and voila! we received $100 in cash. Too bad we can't travel from place to place listening to time-share presentations. | |||
