Next Day
From the Serengeti we headed north, like migrating wildebeest, into Kenya's Masai Mara. As we crossed the border we left behind our Tanzanian guide, Rogathe, who spotted animals and smiled at our jokes. Unfortunately, or new Kenyan guide, William, soon earned the nickname, "Wrong way." He led us miles off course and we didn't arrive into the Masai Mara until sundown. At one point we wondered if we were going to spend the night in a Masai village.
Saying goodbye to Tanzania and our guide, Rogathe.
Our vehicle suffered two flat tires on the rough roads. Kjell considered alternate forms of transport like this banana bike.
Road or riverbed?
