| Our New Year's plan is simple and stupid. We're not night owls so we figure the only way that we'll be awake at midnight is to ride an overnight bus. We rang in the new year somewhere between Bagan and Yangon, at a small truck stop in the middle of nowhere, Burma. | |||

We stayed four full days in
Bagan and ate every meal at the Sankabar Italian Restaurant. We didn't know Sankabar
was an Italian name but he sure knew how to make tortellini and pizza. | |||
