Exploring the Amazonian jungle, a bug paradise...
Every twenty yards or so in the jungle we find a tarantula hole. Our jungle guide teaches us how to pick up these hand-sized monsters by holding them down with a palm frond and grabbing them at the waist.
Swing on vines or canoe thru the canopy (water levels peak in May, June as snow from the Andes melts. The water rises as much as 75 feet, submerging tall trees along the river bank).
