|What can we say about Malawi? Perfect for the backpacker beach experience, except for lurking bilharzia, but contracting parasites are part of the 'African experience.' These little friends keep prices and tourism low. And because tourism numbers remain small, visitors experience genuine encounters with local people.|
We decide to stay one last night on the shores of Lake Malawi. Everyone looks for a job in Malawi, including the dogs. This one 'volunteered' to be our watchdog for the night.
