Next Day
Like the African explorers of the nineteenth century, we couldn't pass up the chance to wander around a fully stocked game park, so with water and lunch packed on our backs we hiked into the wilderness. We lost confidence in our survival skills early on when we walked into a hippo without knowing it was there. It regarded us with the look - "You are clueless" - then shook its head and strutted by us towards the water.
Jill walks about twenty paces behind me - where's the trust in my guiding?
A guide carries a gun (or two) when he leads you about the park. Without a guide, we stay near trees we can climb.
Elephants invade our camp on a constant, around the clock basis - they're worse than telemarketers.
