Next Day
We pegged the temple meter, exploring the massive Angkor complex for another day. Most of Angkor was abandoned in the 15th century during the decline of the Khmer empire. Forest plants and creatures moved in. One hundred years ago a French archaeologist, Henri Mouhot, 'rediscovered' Angkor for the western world.
Another temple?
Paint an Angkor picture.
