| Varig, a Brazilian airline, stranded me in Miami, so I was
delayed coming into Brazil by one day. Unfortunately, my seminar started
before I arrived; over 300 people came to see me give a presentation about
Cisco and I wasn't there! When I arrived, a local Cisco person drove me
from the airport to the seminar and I spoke for 3 hours about technology.
Boring. Then I caught a plane to Sao Paulo in the evening. Brasilia gives
the impression of a lost city - it is built in the middle of nowhere.
Modern architecture and skyscrapers climb directly out of flat nothingness. |
